The Sandvik Ranger DX910i is designed for high productivity with low fuel consumption. The revolving superstructure with 290° rotation enables coverage unlike anything else in the market – 55 m². This means more holes with less tramming, and at the end of the day, more productive working days with up to 60 minutes more drilling in each shift. Over the years, the trusted and powerful RD900 series has proven its value on countless sites and continues to power the Ranger™ DXi series. It boasts an excellent penetration rate, enabling up to 15% better productivity with reduced fuel consumption. And the all-new, unique CT67 rock tools transform all that power to straight holes.

The Sandvik CT67 curved thread systems are designed for surface mining and quarrying. These systems accommodate higher drilling power than the standard ones and feature a curved profile that reduces stress levels strategically while optimizing the product for fatigue strength. The curved threads achieve a faster rate of penetration per meter and more meters per engine hour. These factors - along with problem-free drilling, easy coupling/uncoupling and good hole quality/hole straightness - provide increased productivity during drilling operations.

This mix of plant allows various applications of our machines to be used. L8,D60 and D55 Rigs for large Bench blasts and the T40 allows drilling in the most uneven of ground with its much smaller size and extendable boom which enables more drilling with less movement of the rig itself.

Our Explosives supervisors and Shotfirers have a wealth of knowledge spanning decades and just about every field of blasting. From bulk production blasting in opencast coal mines and Hard Rock Quarries, Providing various services for forestry applications, to pre-split blasting, road cuts, marine blasting, controlled small diameter blasting and harbour developments we are equipped with the skills to carry out some of the most demanding work blasting can involve.

Our drillers have drilled some of the most demanding terrain on offer with our expected standards at all times.

Our fleet of pump trucks and Bulk ANFO trucks are equipped for any blasting exercise.
